of Commerce (USCC) at no additional charge obtaining all the benefits
the USCC offers to its members.

The main areas of concern for the GSCCC are Education, Healthcare,
Communications, Indian Affairs, Economic Development and Tourism.
Our area of operations is Sandoval County. We are focusing on helping businesses and communities
in this area to reach their goals, be successful, profitable, and
ethical and provide better customer service for their clients.
The seven member Board of Directors is composed of business men and women representing the diverse business community of Sandoval County. The Board sets policy and procedures. They meet monthly
to set goals and missions for the full time staff. They are the
decision making arm of the Chamber.
The
Advisory Council is composed of five members: a representative
from the fields of Education, Healthcare, Communications, Indian
Affairs, and Economic Development and Tourism. They advise
the Board of Directors and Executive Director on matters concerning
these areas. They are Ex-Officio members.
The
Executive Director, C. Nick Vuillemot, IOM, reports to the Board
and implements their decisions. Nick has the IOM certification (a
4 year program in nonprofit organization management) from the United
States Chamber of Commerce. Only 11 of the 65 New Mexico Chamber
of Commerce Directors have this certification. Nick was awarded
the New Mexico Chamber Executive of the Year award for 2005. He
